  • Exclusive rides for SoCalGRS on 7.5” gauge trains // Sandwiches and drinks will be provided // Club access to large G-gauge layout- bring your own trains to run on // huge 350-foot track loops in a shaded area // Swap meet open to all club members // Any model railroad items are welcome // Participants should bring their own folding tables // Swap meet set-up begins at noon

Civil War Technology Fair

  • Date: June 27, 2026
  • Location: Drum Barracks Museum in Wilmington, CA.
  • Time: 12pm - 4pm

  • SoCalGRS has again been invited to participate in this event at the Drum Barracks Museum in Wilmington, CA. There are planned special exhibitions and demonstrations on Civil War technologies such as railroads, telegraph, air corps, photography, medicine and many types of weapons. The Muse- um’s Armory Exhibit will also be open. SoCalGRS will set up and operate a G-gauge layout at the muse- um featuring 1860’s vintage rolling stock, military camps and structures.
